Clear crystal adhesive
Green Stuff World Acrylic Crystal Glue is a crystal-clear acrylic adhesive specially formulated for transparent parts and delicate materials. It offers strong bonding power with zero fogging or residue, making it the perfect choice for clear canopies, clear miniature bases, display cases, and other transparent components. It can also be used to fill small gaps between clear parts, as it dries completely invisible. Ideal for creating gems or realistic vehicle headlights after painting the inside with metallic silver or chrome paints.
Unlike cyanoacrylate glues, it does not release vapors that cause clouding, ensuring perfectly clean and polished joins every time. This acrylic-based modeling glue contains no solvents, making it safe for foam materials such as XPS or EPS without risk of melting or deformation. This adhesive is not suitable for bonding EVA foam materials.
Its low viscosity provides excellent flow and control, allowing for precise application even on small-scale parts. For best results, it is recommended to use fine glue applicator tips to achieve clean, accurate placement and avoid excess adhesive in delicate areas. The glue dries to a transparent, flexible finish that maintains clarity over time — it won’t yellow or lose transparency, even after years of use.
Because of its slower curing time (around one hour, depending on temperature and thickness), Crystal Glue gives users time to adjust parts into position before setting. This feature makes it ideal for modelers working on clear acrylic elements, resin dioramas, plastic kits, and airplane canopies, where perfect alignment and clean visual results are essential.
